Because OLSD will no longer support the Remind messaging app, LMBA will now use the GroupMe messaging app to announce important information. Over the next few weeks, families and students will be expected to sign up for their respective GroupMe messaging groups (for example, choir students will sign up for their GroupMe messaging group and choir parents will sign up for a separate messaging group). Band, Orchestra and Choir directors will be sharing specific QR codes and links to sign up. To encourage participation, any student or parent who signs up for their Group Me messaging group by mid September will automatically be entered in a drawing to win one of four $25 Amazon gift cards that have been donated by an LMBA family.
